"Bailey", 1999 Bay Gelding, HH Easy Bar Bailey
(Easy Jet/Johnny Dial/Pacific Bailey)
This guy is my partner in crime. He has been running now for a few years and has become extremely consistent. I do use him for occasional barrel racing lessons. He is gentle, focused, powerful, and gives me everything he has each time he runs. He loves his job and is a testament to what we do here in our training. Consistent work builds consistent horses. We are very proud of him. He wraps his barrels with a smile!
"Annie", 2004 Gray Mare, HH Zan Parr Bailey
(Zan Parr Bar/Two Eyed Jack/Mr. Gunsmoke)
This mare is 15'2. She is started on the barrels and is loping them nicely. She is kind and easy to handle. She stops, backs, pivots, sidepasses, and controls her hind and front end well. She is currently being used as one of our lesson horses and takes good care of our students.
"Kita", 1997 Sorrel Mare, Moapa Kitten
(Dash For Cash Granddaughter/Fantastic Native)
Kita is a finished barrel horse we use for advanced students. She was a 1D horse, then was semi-retired due to a fine tendon laceration. She is coming back sound after having a few years off and is coming back. We have started hauling her lightly again.
"Moose", 2005 Bay Gelding, HH First Believer
(Special Effort/Calyx/Leo/Johnny Dial)
We started Moose late, and we are taking our time training him. He is quiet, kind, and aims to please. He is coming along in his training and moves well off your leg, etc. He moves beautifully. He is started on the barrels and will be brought along slowly. He has a lot of raw talent. His dam was a 1D barrel and pole horse, was a good rope horse/ranch horse as well.
"Heidi", 2006 Sorrel Mare, HH Gay Bar Gal
(Gay Bar King/Continental King/Johnny Bull/Leo/Hollywood Gold)
Heidi was started at 3 in the summer of 09. She has 45 days under saddle. She will continue with her training over the winter. She is a small, but well made mare. She has a quiet disposition and moves well.
"Vette", 2006 Sorrel Mare, HH Peppy Lil Effort
(Gay Bar King/Continental King/Cheno Pep/Special Effort)
Vette was started at 3 in the summer of 09. She has 45 days under saddle. She will continue with her training over the winter. Vette is sensitive, light, and athletic.
"Shrek", 2001 Bay Stallion, HH Proud Believer
(Special Effort/Dash For Cash)
Shrek is our standing stallion. We have crossed him on several Dash Ta Fame daughters and have produced some outstanding foals that are now coming of age and about to hit futurities and barrel races. He puts quality on the ground and his foals have quiet minds.
We will be standing him to approved outside mares in 2010. Call for more information.
"Fame", 2000 Chestnut Mare, No Shame Ta Fame
(Dash Ta Fame Daughter X Truly Truckle/Easy Jet)
Our favorite broodmare, Fame has consistently raised our best colts each year. They are correct, kind, friendly, and easy to teach. Her oldest foals are just now old enough to begin competing, so we are excited to see how they run. We are getting reports from owners that her babies are quick to pick up the pattern and don't need to be shown many times how to do something....true to their Dash Ta Fame lineage. We expect to see several of her foals grow up to be greats.
"LeRoy", 2008 Sorrel Stallion, HH Bodacious Leroy
(Special Effort/Dash For Cash/Sugar Bars/Leo/Poco Bueno)
This is not the most beautiful colt we've raised, but he's one of our favorites. He has great feet and has good straight legs. He is smart, smart, smart! He is gentle and easy to teach. Show him once, he'll do it that way from then on. The first to meet you in the pasture, will tie up all afternoon and just cock a foot. He has been saddled, ponied, etc. He's easy to trim, loads, etc. He's a great horse in the making. Can't wait to start him!
"Kelly", 2009 Bay Filly, HH Blind Believer, name pending
(HH Proud Believer X Moapa Kitten)
This is one great looking little filly. She is out of Kita, my barrel mare listed above. If we could push a button and make this filly 3, we'd do it! Can't wait to see what she becomes. She's a very nice prospect and built just right. She's friendly, gentle, inquisitive, and just a little spunky.
"Indy", 2009 Sorrel Stallion, name pending
(HH Proud Believer X No Shame Ta Fame)
One nice little studcolt! Very kind and easy to work with. He is extremely correct and has a great topline on him. Good feet too!
This little colt is also a fantastic barrel prospect with his build and bloodlines.
"Roanie", 1996 Roan Gelding, JBT Lucky Diamond
(Twin Profit/Doc Bar/Redwood Echols)
Roanie is the backbone of our lesson program. He has helped us teach many people to ride. He is a tad on the lazy side, but speeds up when asked. He knows who's riding him. Holly uses him for sorting and he will turn on when asked! Students who watch can't believe it's the same horse they ride for lessons! He was a heel horse when we bought him, but we've taught him the barrel and pole patterns so we could use him for our lessons. He belongs to Holly's son, Douglas, but he is generous to share him with everyone. He is a super handy horse. We wish we had 10 of him. He is priceless and is a permanent fixture here. We love our Roanie Pony!
"Rooster", 2006 Bay Gelding, Grade
Rooster belongs to LeRoy. He is a started heel horse, but is a great little sorting horse! He is ranchy and just a fun horse to ride. He is affectionately known as "Rooster Rex". We use him occasionally for lessons for our advanced students as well.
