Lessons and Clinics
We offer a unique lesson program.
The simple truth is...There are some great riders out there who cannot teach well and there are some great teachers who cannot ride well.  We offer a program that combines excellent teaching with solid horsemanship that will allow you to progress quickly.

Our instructor, Holly Heidemann, offers intuitive teaching skills as a former elementary educator, combined with a lifetime of horsemanship, barrel racing, and training experience.

We believe that riding is an evolution and that daily growth must take place to be a good rider and/or trainer.  We never stop learning and embracing new ideas.

While Holly still competes, she fully enjoys teaching others to be their best.  Our goal is to make you the best rider you can be, to learn to be competitive without stepping on other people, and to attain confidence that is unshakeable by those around you.  We want you to succeed!  Be prepared...our enthusiasm is contagious!

During lessons, Holly rides right alongside you and gives step by step instruction.
Our lesson program is fast paced, yet positive and encouraging.  We have taught from age 6-60.  You can choose to take lessons on your own horse, or one of ours.  If you don't own your own horse, taking lessons on one of ours is good way to progress as a rider until you feel confident to choose the best horse for you.  We have select horses to be used in lessons and you have the opportunity to ride several horses as you achieve new skill.  This allows you to grow as a rider.

Current price:  $50/hr.

We also offer intensive barrel racing clinics.  Please email or call for more information.  These are two day clinics where you will be riding 5-6 hours each day.
We publish a monthly newsletter that we use to keep our clients up to date on the latest news and activities at our facility.

Your success is my success.
I rejoice when my clients reach their barrel racing and horsemanship goals!  Thank you for trusting me to help you improve.

Remember that it takes a calm, consistent, and correct rider to produce a horse you can count on.  Enjoy your horses and love them for who they are and the talents they have.  Make the most of those strengths and work on their weaknesses respectfully.

Above all, never stop learning.  Perseverance and education are a powerful combination!

Student of the Month
Leslie is our student of the month.  Leslie's horse, Bud, sustained an injury to his extensor tendon.  He is expected to make a full recovery.  While he recovers, she is riding our horses in lessons.  Leslie is learning new things she can apply to Bud's training once he's back in business.  We'd like to commend Leslie on her patience and hard work through Bud's recovery.  Leslie will be riding Annie during our Thanksgiving clinic.
